Happy May Everyone,

We hope you’re all well in mind, body and spirit, and enjoying the bursting colors of spring. I noticed all the magnificent hues of the rainbow and more in just a short walk along a residential stretch in Magnolia. I recommend this little game of “name the colors” next time you’re out and about on a sunny day!

Speaking of nature, this month we have a few Friday evening Pop Ups that we know you’ll enjoy! Caoilfhionn is teaching a special flow class to help inspire your connection to the natural world, and Daniela is bringing her popular meditation and journaling session back to the studio. Sami’s Tween Yoga Series has a new start date, and will begin next Tuesday, and Prenatal Yoga is now a regular Saturday class on the schedule.

Studio Theme: Growth & Acknowledgment

Let this month be a time to reflect on how far you’ve come.

Take some time to witness your earthly accomplishments, physical changes, mental and emotional growth, while also acknowledging that you are still evolving and growing, regardless of your age. Notice what “growth” has meant to you and what it means to you today. Assessing your journey with a little dispassion is a form of self-knowledge and self-love, best accomplished without getting the ego too heavily involved.

When you find a quiet moment to yourself, take stock of how you arrived at where you are today. Is there anything you’d change? Why or how? Are you content with your mindset? Growth is never a straight path, so give yourself permission to wander, build in some time to get lost, to celebrate, to mourn — they’re all an indispensable part of your journey.
