Yuko Enomoto: co-owner, teacher
Yuko has been teaching yoga for more than 15 years, but considers herself an eternal student; rarely a day goes by where yoga doesn’t bring some type of insight into life matters, both big and small.
Having taught yoga to people of all ages and abilities, Yuko feels her mission is to impart the practical wisdom and health benefits of the practice to as many people as possible in a casual, fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Yuko’s balanced flows engage the whole body and lean toward deep stretching, but may also target specific issues or areas of the body. Her classes begin with intention setting, breath work, and a short meditation before moving into asanas. Her wish is that you leave her classes feeling relaxed, invigorated and happy.
When not teaching or practicing yoga, Yuko uses her background in journalism to write and edit. She can also be found hawking clothes and gifts at a boutique or hunched over a laptop with Ginger in the Village. Don’t hesitate to say “hi” when you see her!
